Cody
On some websites I have to click a link twice for it to open, the first click gives the link an outline like you can see on the News link in the picture. For it to open the link I have to click that link a second time. This does not happen on every website and it does not happen in IE. I am running Windows Vista and Firefox 2.0.0.11 Thanks
lunamonkey
Yeah, my mum can't click links properly either. ;) (Happens to me too. Bugging eh?)
tuckeratlarge
I get that as well, I thought it was me. For a second or two at first I thought that I hadn't clicked the link hard or long enough - D'oh
+Cryton Subscriber² Posted January 9, 2008 Subscriber² Share Posted January 9, 2008 Is the problem reproducible if you use a brand new firefox profile? - http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_manager (Note: Do not delete your existing profile)
lunamonkey
Is the problem reproducible if you use a brand new firefox profile?- http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_manager (Note: Do not delete your existing profile) You can't do it delibrately. I reckon it only happens if you click-drag slightly. Or maybe the focus box is slightly larger than the actual clickable area. I know that they should be one and the same, but even a 1 pixel difference could cause this.
Cody
Eariler I tried the beta build for FF3 and it was doing the same thing, i uninstalled firefox 2 and 3, deleted the application data folder reinstalled and its still doing it. I created a new profile and it didnt help either. I can reproduce the error all day on this computer, but on another computer it works fine. I dont know if it matters but the computer it is giving me the bug on is a tablet.
