Emile
Are there any free MMORPG's that can be downloaded and installed on/with the PS3? I'm not talking demos either.
DirtyLarry Veteran Posted January 11, 2008 Veteran Share Posted January 11, 2008 Unless someone wants to correct me, I am fairly confident the answer is a resounding No.
x9248
Definetly not... and if there was there's a 99% chance it wouldn't be free.

Digitalx
yeah most mini games/arcade/PSN games cost money i doubt there'd be a full blown RPG/MMORPG in them anyway since these types of games aren't usually small per-sey but oblivion is good on ps3 :). +Audioboxer Subscriber² Posted January 11, 2008 Subscriber² Share Posted January 11, 2008 Only option you currently have is to see if any free MMORPGs work under Linux, and if you know your stuff install Linux on your PS3 and play. USB keyboard/mouse will work. Although I don't think graphics intensive games would work as I believe Linux graphics access is fairly limited right now. Ryvis
Tetsuya Mizuguchi (of Rez/Lumines/Meteos fame) said that he and Q were working on a free mmorpg for the playstation store though I guess it hasn't been released yet. Angel Love is supposed to land on the PS3 this December, most likely as a free PS Store download. http://www.ps3fanboy.com/2007/09/16/free-t...ystation-store/ http://ao.igg.com Seems there is an english version for the PC
