PS3 game prices

Recommended Posts

I was just wondering if anyone else noticed that barely any of the PS3 games have dropped in price? Both the 360 and Wii for example, the games tend to drop in price about $10-$20 a few months after their release. But, with the PS3 barely any games have dropped at all...

Are they just not selling enough to get to that threshold of a price drop or what? I'm looking to buy some of the older games that came out around launch, but they are still full price. It's slightly annoying...

I just bought heavenly sword for $36 and warhawk for $31. Also picked up GH3 for 360 for $31. Gamefly baby, you don't even have to leave the house. Free shipping and brand new case, only used part is the disc and after 30+ games I've yet to have a problem with any of them.

Here in Belgium the games cost ? 69,99 ( $ 100+ ) and drop to ? 59,99 after a while. Now, you were saying?

I have no problem with the price. To me it's not too expensive. I'm just curious as the why the non sports titles aren't dropping at all in my area.

The "You were saying" was more a funny note than something else. ;)

I wouldn't know why they don't drop at your area. Maybe try out another shop or is it all shops?

Most, if not all PS3 games at my local Game store are ?39.95. A few titles (DiRT, Motorstorm, etc) are cheaper (?29.95) but they're still bloody expensive.
