Krita is the full-featured free digital painting studio for artists who want to create professional work from start to end.     • Samsung launches Galaxy Z Flip7 with Dex support and FlexWindow by Aditya Tiwari Samsung in back with the second Galaxy Unpacked event for 2025, bringing new upgrades for its smartwaches and foldable smartphones. As part of the live stream keynote, Samsung announced the newest device in its flip lineup, called the Galaxy Z Flip7, alongside the Galaxy Z Fold7. One of the highlights of the Flip7 is the new edge-to-edge cover display called FlexWindow. It is a 4.1-inch Super AMOLED display (1048 x 948) with 120Hz refresh rate, 2,600 nits peak brightness, and Vision Booster to improve outdoor visibility. The device's primary display, which is 6.9-inch 2520 x 1080 Dynamic AMOLED 2X, also features the same 2,600 peak brightness and 120Hz adaptive refesh rate. The clock displayed on FlexWindow can adapt and stretch to according to the user's wallpaper and keep the time display clear. Gemini Live is directly accessible through FlexWindow, allowing users to pull up details from Samsung Wallet, set reminders, and do other things hands-free. Galaxy Z Flip7 is the thinnest of all Flip series smartphones Samsung has released until now, the company said in a press release. It measures 13.7mm when folded and weighs 188 grams. The Armor FlexHinge on the device is thinner than previous generations with a restructured design and high-strength materials for smoother folds and long-lasting durability. Under the hood, Flip7 is powered by the Exynos 2500, which is based on 3nm process technology. It's combined with 12GB RAM and 256/512GB storage options. The device can deliver up to 31 hours of video play time on a single charge with its 4,300mAh battery. It can be fueled up from zero to 50% capacity in about 30 minutes using a 25W adapter, and also supports Fast Wireless Charging 2.0 as well as Wireless Powershare. In the camera department, the Galaxy Z Flip7 features a dual camera setup on the rear: a 50MP Wide-angle Camera, and a 12MP Ultra-Wide Camera. For the front camera, the device comes with a 10MP shooter for selfies when in unfolded state. The Galaxy Z Flip7 runs One UI 8 which is based on the Android 16 update. It supports Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 7, 5G, and comes with IP48 water resistence to handle submersion in up to 1.5 meters of freshwater for up to 30 minutes. However, Samsung advises not using the device at beaches or pools. Samsung is also bringing Dex to the Flip series for the first time. The desktop mode allows users to connect their smartphone to a compatible monitor or TV screen and get a PC-like experience for improved multitasking. With a starting price tag of $1,099.99, the Galazy Z Flip7 is now available for pre-order in the US, and will be up for sale on July 25. The device is available in Blue Shadow, Jet Black, Coral Red, and a Samsung.com-exlusive Mint color option. Samsung is currently offering a platter of perks and discounts, including a free storage upgrade to 512GB version and six months of Google AI Pro subscription. Apart from that, Samsung has also announced the Galaxy Z Flip7 FE version of its foldable smartphone this year. Avalable in Black and White color options, the device features a 6.7-inch FHD+ display, 3.4-inch Super AMOLED Cover Screen, Exynos 2400, 8GB RAM, 128/256GB storage, and 4,000 mAh battery capacity. It's available for pre-order with a starting price tag of $899.99.
