Hum
FARMINGTON, Utah ? Police are questioning a group of teenagers accused of trading nude pictures over cell phones. Farmington Police Lt. Shane Whitaker says six or so Farmington Junior High School students took pictures of themselves and then shared the naked images. A parent of one of the kids found the pictures on their child's cell phone and called police. Detectives say the 13- and 14-year-old boys and girls questioned said they took the pictures as a joke, but it's potentially a crime. Police say they plan to turn the investigation over to the Davis County attorney by the end of the week to decide if charges will be filed. source video

WelshBluebird
honestly, if their around the same age, and nothing was forced (which it seems like) then I can't see the problem. Would be a different story if the pics were being sent to other parties, but if their just shared within the group, then IMO the police shouldn't be involved. User6060
WelshBluebird has go it right about calling the cops, why can't parents deal with their own children in a responsible adult manner. It's your teenage son...

NienorGT
FGS, they took pics of THEMSELVES and share them (THEMSELVES) to other. It's something that parents must stop (cuz it could go in unwanted hands easily) but to call the police... :| What... they can't educate their kids nowadays? Need the police? It's parent's job to teach moral to kids if you keep allowing this to your kids then certainly you aren?t doing a good job.
dwarm
That's what happens when parents and schools don't educate their kids about sex... seems like there is "no problem", but these kids are barely teens. I know I wouldn't have been sending naked pictures of myself around at that age
