Nightwind Hawk
If anybody should be in trouble, it should be all these "investigators" looking into the pictures. Seriously, look at the Video. A bunch of adults and old guys are now looking at their nude pictures.
pyehac
Oh how I miss my Nokia 3390. It was just a cell phone, not a camera phone + MP3 player + video camera + text messenger. The closest thing we had to this was making those ASCII images.
KS/Drae
You're all ridiculous. It's creating and distributing child pornography. It's some super conservative kick that started about 4 years ago. As a parent, it's one thing to attempt to steer your children in one direction. It's entirely another to subject your child to 4-5 years in a juvenile facility followed by real jail time because they're experiencing sexual urges and learning to deal with them. Teach your child *yourself* about sex and don't leave it up to third parties, and talk with them before calling the police? It may be too much to ask nowadays. techbeck
Not an issue unless the kids are sending the pics to adults or if adults are sending pics to the kids. I do know if that if I had a kid and they did this, they wouldnt have a phone with a camera anymore until they learned their lesson. Hope this doesnt become a big deal like the people taking nude pics of their kids to Walmart to get developed only to find themselves arrested and their kids taken away. The Rev
Being underage doesn't mean they can do whatever they want w/o consequences.... They broke a law, transferring nude pictures of minors over communication medium. They should be punished. Not severely, mind you, but they, and everyone else, need to know that it's just NOT OKAY for anyone of any age to transmit underage nudes/porn to anyone, period. What would happen if you were a parent, and your fourteen year old son/daughter sent a nude of herself to some guy in her class, he sends it to x number of people, and they all send to x number of people.... sooner or later, some dirty old man gets his hands on it, puts it on some sleazy website, and now your son or daughter will forever be used as a sex object for pedophiles.... It's happened before. Raise your hand if you would want your kids to be a party to that? if YOU (for all you underage folk here) would want to be a party to that. Kids- respect yourselves, just don't do it. Adults- Teach your kids to that they need to respect the laws, however unreasonable or "inapplicable" they think the laws are to themselves.
