[RUMOR] Cyrsis "1.5" for PS3?

Oh cmon! What's the point of releasing demos then? That's how you get a feel for the game...if i don't like the demo I'm not gonna like the game!

Wait, so all the reviews I've been reading about games are based solely on their respective demos? That's news to me :)

The 360 and PS3 cannot run Crysis at high settings. They just don't have the memory, shaders, bandwidth, or brute force. Even on a closed system, like the consoles, Crysis just requires too much at high settings. I do wonder how games with relatively small environments like sequels to gears and uncharted will compare though (i'm guessing the sequels will have environments of similar size to the originals).

Demos do give you a feel for the game, maybe not so well story-wise, but how well it can be ran on your computer. If you couldn't handle the demo, well the full game was just a bit more laggy for me.

And mention a few titles for me, with gorgeous graphics & HUGE outdoor terrain for the console. ( Where you are able to go, not some pathetic 2D backdrop. )

Skate is probably the closest to this on console. A huge city with no loading which is filled with pedestrians and traffic, as well as impressive physics and graphics. Obviously Crysis, on a capable PC, is one of the best looking games ever, but I still find my 360 games impressive to look at. And it would be interesting to see how Crysis could run on a console.
