killmaster84
Not insulting your ability to play but snipers are not even close to being powerful enough to be a problem by camping, a half decent player should make quick work of a sniper the second time they respawn and this is without kill cam because with kill cam snipers are at a disadvantage :/ The end of all ends is that the reason CoD 4 is so unbelievably good is all down to the near perfect balance... And that's why you should relocate a lot sniping :p

pHaez
Level 55 (Not gonna do prestige) Weapon of Choice: M16 w/ Red Tiger, Silencer, Claymores, UAV Jammer and Dead Silence (I only play Hardcore if you can't tell by the perks) I am also fond of the M14, G36C and MP5 with the same camo/attachment/perks. I also use the M249 with Red Tiger, RPG, UAV Jammer, and Deep impact for those levels that are very close combat.
weepyboy
Lvl 55 10th prestige here. The M4 carbine with red dot is always a good choice. Even if it's not as powerful as some of the assault rifles, the accuracy makes up for it. You can use the same set up with any of the assault rifles. The three i usually use is the AK47, M16, and the M4 carbine. The RPD with grip, Stopping power and deep impact is good also. You can try the RPD with red dot, RPGs (in case of a chopper), Stopping power and extreme conditioning. Something that's ALWAYS fun (well for me) is the W1200 (pump shotgun) with uav, dead silence, and bandolier. Running around to the back of your enemies and jason raping them is always fun. Keep in mind, though, that this only works for a couple of maps. One great set up that i haven't been using as often: P90 silenced, stopping power, steady aim, and bandolier. Classic run and gun class. You hardly ever have to aim, and if you do have to, you're probably too far away anyway. Another thing to keep in mind is that the guns that most people hate, are beastly guns if you can get used to it. I'm talking about the general reject guns like the G3, M14, and the Scorpion. A few tips for making a weapon class. 1. Deep impact with on a shotgun = fail. Don't try it, it's pointless. 2. When using a shotgun, use something other than Stopping power, a well placed shot is bound to be a one shot kill, even without stopping power. Try using slight of hand, uav, or double tap on the w1200 3. People tend to love using Slight of hand on a light machine gun. If you really shoot that much, then i guess it wouldn't be a bad idea. Just stick to stopping power, and control your fire rate. There have been cases where i had a 15 kill streak before i had to sit and reload. If you know where your enemies are, reloading shouldn't be a problem. 4. ACOG scopes aren't as bad on Sub Machine guns as people may think. Try it out. It's pretty decent on the scorpion. 5. AK 74u with steady aim and no attachment. The crosshair is much smaller without an attachment. I'd tell you why, but i don't know. 6. Double tap vs stopping power? If you have the ammo in the clip to spare, double tap might not be too bad. Keep in mind the recoil might be kicked up, and with a small clip, you're going to have to reload alot. 7. Last stand, 3x Frags, Grenade Launchers. Things people get yelled at for using. They're still good to use on certain maps, as long as you don't mind having poor sports yelling at you for it. although, i'm not so sure about juggernaut. I rarely use it, but when i do, it hasn't saved my life yet. 8. Try out every perk and see what you like.
