CrimsonRedMk Member Posted January 20, 2008 Member Share Posted January 20, 2008 Shift 0.6 is coming out on January 26 or 27...So they should be uploaded on or before January 25, just to be safe. There will be three versions, Gnome, KDE, and Lite. Development for Shift Gnome 0.6 will be led by simon360. The art team should send him the Gnome artwork (wallpaper, boot screen, theme) and Gnome suggestions. Development for Lite (XFCE default), and KDE (4.0) will be led by CrimsonRedMk (me). Send me artwork (same stuff as simon360). Art team, me and Max have decided to go with the Shift 0.5 wallpaper and Shift 0.5 Gnome theme for Gnome. However, we still need these wallpapers (heck, where did I save them?), along with a new boot screen. The dev team needs all of this soon, and the sooner he better. Realistically, the art team should aim to have the art done by Tuesday, January 22. That gives the dev team a few days to get it all together, and then do some final testing, and upload the final 0.6 version. Thanks to everyone for getting us this far, and I'm sure that Shift Linux 0.6 will be a great release. Go Shift!
