DrunknMunky Veteran Posted January 24, 2008 Veteran Share Posted January 24, 2008 News by GamesIndustry.bizIn Q3 financial results released today, Ubisoft revealed that its upcoming game Haze has been delayed into fiscal year 2008-09. The game, developed by Free Radical, was originally scheduled for release during the 2007 holiday period but was subsequently delayed until 2008. Some had expected the game to arrive in January. Although no new release date has been given for the game, Ubisoft's 2008-09 fiscal year begins in April 2008. The game was demonstrated at Leipzig in August and at GameCity in October. Ubisoft has stated that Haze is currently a PS3 exclusive, but as the company has not discounted the possibility of the game appearing on the PC or Xbox 360, it is assumed that this will be a timed exclusive. The company raised its 2008-09 guidance based in part upon Haze's delay. Source: EuroGamer
monkey13
To me saying "Fiscal year 2008-2009" means 2009. Other wise you would say Q1 or Q2 if it's close.

They have until April 2009 to release the game and not be lying. If they were planning on it coming out sooner, they'd be more specific. Balls. Corris Veteran Posted January 24, 2008 Veteran Share Posted January 24, 2008 What in the world are they doing, To be delayed to what seems to be a good 5-6 months in total, at the time you think they would of known it wasn't finished when they said it would be released for the 2007 holiday season if it has need to take a few more months now. Its starting to sound like they have buggered something up along the line with this game. If they keep delaying they are going to run into some of the bigger games that are coming to the PS3 this year, which is never a good thing when coming up to the likes of such things as MGS4 or Killzone2 which are being hyped so much.
