Sam
Is it possible to use a USB memory stick to transfer PS2 saves to the PS3? I don't really want to buy the adaptor if I don't have to, as it'd be used only once. So far i've got the contents of my PS2 memory card onto a USB stick (via swapmagic on PS2), but I think it may be the directory stucture which stops the PS3 from seeing anything. Any ideas? Cheers. Michael1406
Is there a way to access the PS3's directories without using the XMB? That way you could create a virtual memory card and use a couple PS2 games to see how the data is saved. Then you could manually make directories and put the saves in that way. Although I'm just guessing, so I don't know.
Sam
The data is saved in .PSV format on the PS3, which are files signed by Sony. I was just wondering if the usb stick can be detected as a PS2 memory card, therefor allowing the saves to be copied?
