I see you can read the terminology of 'conspiracy theory' But one should always be open minded and accept the truth only when the truth is bearable to eye. Of course information should be faced with a skeptic mind. But do people really question everything what the media puts out? The medias tells tales and the movie is a tale. Why would you only want to look one tale as a truth and ignore the others? I mean, to have an opinion requires you to see all the sides of the coins. See the documentary. I went through a lollercauster when I heard Bush say where he was the day it all happened. Pathetic. I don't see how this is a conspiracy when there is no theory involved, just facts of the day. sys32 Posted May 5, 2008 Share Posted May 5, 2008 In the movie they mention that the 13th amendment to the constitution barred U.S. officials from carrying royal titles such as Earl, King, Prince, etc. However, I find no evidence of that in the actual constitution. The 13th amendment bans slavery and gives congress the power to enforce the ban. The only thing I could find in the constitution that is anywhere near this is the following excerpt from Section 9: "No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States: And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince or foreign State." So, what gives. I have only looked into this one claim so far, but if they outright lied about this in the film, one can only guess what else is untrue in the movie. It's just a little off-putting to me that they claimed this provision was included in the 13th amendment. It's simply incorrect.
