I?m excited to announce our new, and FREE, update for Warhawk ? the v1.3 Patch!

There are 5 key additions in this update that add a ton of value for our current and future Warhawk players. First, I?ll cover the 2 new troop items that we are adding to the game.

So far, Warhawk players have logged over 7.3 million hours of gameplay and have scored over 206 million kills! And during this time, we?ve keenly observed the battles, looking for opportunities for us to further balance Warhawk?s gameplay and over-arching ?combat economy?. The result of our observations comes in the form of two upgrades for ground troops ? to help promote teamwork, lengthen troop lifespan, and expand Warhawk?s fast-paced, emergent gameplay that players around the world have come to love.

This is gonna be a long post and I want to give you all a rundown of the new equipment but I can?t ramble on for pages about it so I?ll just write a quick summary here. I can always follow-up with you guys later in the comments?.you know how I love to respond to comments

The two new troop tools are nice. Should add some small twists to various games. I'm sill waiting for a ground vehicle that is much like the dropship: in which you can mount multiple troops in it and have multiple arms ready for firing.

I've been considering downloading Warhawk. Is it worth it? I mean, since it's completely multiplayer and it's been out for a while now will a person like myself who just gets it now get totally raped or what?

It's actually a pretty simple game to catch on to. Atleast for ground combat. Warhawk dogfights are another story.

I'd say pick it up. The replay value is more than worth it.

Did they say when it supposed to be released?

Not yet, I think if they did people would be running around saying Home was due out on this date/just before/just after as well - Due to the blatant Home integration that has been flaunted with patch 1.3.

Expect to hear about the patch at GDC maybe, if Sony do a Home announcement (they would likely say "Home out on the xx and great games like Warhawk supporting it from the get go...").

I downloaded it earlier and have played it for about 2 hours. I love it. My ratio is totally horrible. 20 kills, 99 deaths. But I expected to get pretty beat up at first.

I'm getting used to the controls. That seemed to be the hardest part to get used to.

it's definately worth the $40 to download it.
