Neowin Shift Linux Meeting

Recommended Posts

Hey, I'm Mike, Lead Developer of Neowin Shift Linux, and I'd like to invite the Neowin community to take part in this community meeting. Here is the same invitation I posted in the Shift subforum. (Do I need to make a statement about the controversy that this invitation might be considered spam to some?)

I'd like to invite everyone to a Shift Community meeting on the 22nd of February (Friday) at 1PM Eastern US time on #shiftlinux on irc.neowin.net. I'll be hosting the meeting, at which I'll talk about where we are, where Shift Linux is going, along with provide a background, and answer questions about Shift. I'll listen to your problems and suggestions also, and provide feedback. Another tidbit, I'll be sitting in front of a Shift development machine, running Shift Linux to help out. I invite everyone to come, and I hope this meeting will be the first of many Community Meetings regarding Neowin's Shift Linux. If you do plan to come or have any more questions, reply here :) Thanks!

Yes, that's 6pm in the UK, 7pm in Holland/France/Belgium/Spain/Portugal... this Friday (22 Feb).

Everyone, no matter how much or little you've had a go with Shift, should come. After all, Shift is first and foremost a Neowin community project :D
