Scaldari Anitoba Posted February 21, 2008 Share Posted February 21, 2008 Ok, somehow in trying to close a pogram that was not respnding, i lost my taskbar, POOPH gone completly logging out nor ebooting bings it back so somehow i tuned it off. now How do i get it back? running the shift version of Kubuntu, latest stable release. markwolfe Veteran Posted February 21, 2008 Veteran Share Posted February 21, 2008 Well, not sure about where KDE stores these things, but if you remove the 'dot file' holding your preferences, KDE will re-create it with defaults. I am going to guess if you rename (rather than remove) the file like this: mv ~/.kde/share/config/kdeglobals ~/.kde/share/config/kdeglobals-old Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

HELLO GEHTO TERMINAL LOL Celeron 1.5 ghz Laptop with a half busted lid hinge, 3 screws of the oiginal 20+ holding it together <two for the display, one on the front side, none for the HDD o the DVD rom> a busted touch pad and the power cord is soldered to the mobo. :) perfect linux box.
