So wait, they were teasing the Clash for 2 whole days, then on a SD! let him nail it on Axel? Eh, ok sure why not.

Also, is that the Vampiro from WCW's days? Because if so, man he got thick since the last time I saw him (granted that was like 10 years ago, but still).

Yep, that's him. He can still put on a good match, though, as he proved in Ultima Lucha last year...

Former TNA Knockouts champion Awesome Kong was sent home from the current UK tour on the first day following a locker room incident with Reby Sky, PWInsider.com has learned.

According to multiple sources, Kong took issue with Sky attempting to dress in the women's locker room and threw Sky's bag out of the room. Sky had not dressed in the women's locker room at the Bethlehem, PA tapings as we are told she dressed separately at those tapings. The UK tour was the first time Sky dressed in the women's locker room.

The back story here appears to come from, of all things, social media and shoot interviews. In 2013, Kong made reference to Sky on a www.KayfabeCommentaries.com "Youshoot" DVD where she knocked Sky during a segment called "The Ho Bag." Kong's statements were apparently a receipt for Sky, earlier that year, going on Twitter in reference to Sid Vicious no showing an independent date, which Sky spoke out about.

Sky would then shoot back online in a public Q&A forum when asked about Kong knocking her, writing, "Not aware of this, if it is true. Doesn’t make much sense, as I don’t know her on a really personal level & we have been nothing but nice to each other in passing at shows. We’ve actually texted back & forth a few times, so if she now has a problem with me, I can only attribute it to one thing/person. Fake as f**k to be nice to my face & talk s**t to a camera if its true, but no shocker there. That’s 99% of the women in this business anyway. Next."

So, while the entire back and forth happened years ago and was likely forgotten by everyone except the principals, it appears to have been the root cause of what sent Kong off and might explain what she was demanding an apology for.

We are told Sky left the room (likely to speak to someone in TNA management) and when she returned to retrieve her things, Kong went after her for "not apologizing."

There are two versions making the rounds as to what happened next. One is that Kong tried to go after Sky but was stopped. The second version, which we've heard from FAR more people, is that Kong throttled Sky around the neck and assaulted her, before security and TNA Producer Pat Kenney restrained Kong.

What makes the entire situation worse is that Reby and Matt Hardy's son was right in the vicinity of the incident we are told.

The incident led to Kong being sent home by TNA. What this means for her long-term status with the company is probably undecided as of this writing.

Kong departed TNA in 2010 after assaulting shock DJ Bubba the Love Sponge (at the time, working as a backstage interviewer for the company through his connection to Hulk Hogan) after Bubba made derogatory remarks about Haiti following a major Earthquake there. She went to WWE for a short run as Kharma and returned to TNA in early 2015.

PWInsider has reached out to TNA for comment.

I never knew about Kong attacking Bubba the Love Sponge before; that bit cracked me up.

According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, New Japan Pro Wrestling has signed Will Ospreay, who is currently working TNA’s tour of the UK. The signing of Ospreay reportedly upset TNA officials, as the company brought him in to work the current UK tour. Ospreay ended up working one, 5 minute match against Mandrews during the current UK tour.

I got reminded of this match on Twitter; easily one of the most brutal matches you'll ever see (and apparently what spawned the "Joe's gonna kill you" chants).

Ugh, never liked Necro Butcher. Or the people (back then) who wished he'd sign with WWE (uh, never gonna happen folks lol). Flair I think called Foley a spot machine or something, Necro was a spot machine, from hell. I mean, yes he could wrestle better than say, Sandman but still. He was beyond even the hay day of Funk or Foley and their deathmatches in Japan etc. As for Joe, either he did a great job protecting himself in that match or Necro couldn't hit enough to get Joe to bleed :|

Though, Joe is gonna kill you came out of that one, so its not all bad mind you (I guess?).

As CM Punk said, "Never headbutt a Samoan!" ("but throw chairs at Samoans all you want", as one of the other commentators followed up with). Even though Joe won that match, Punk still has the best plan for taking on Necro Butcher: "I would sign a contract with the WWE and run far far away!"

IWA Mid-South's got a massive playlist of matches up on YouTube that's probably worth looking through. Hell, this one's immediately got my attention just from the title...

Fear not believers, Lucha Underground will be back for Season 3 — Pro Wrestling Sheet has learned the good news was just delivered to the show’s cast during a backstage meeting.

The final taping for Lucha Underground’s second season takes place today and producers for the show informed all the wrestlers beforehand that a third season has already been greenlit by the network.

Multiple sources say the cast was also told the show would be hitting the iTunes store in a few months as well — which means those without the El Rey Network will finally be able to watch.

No word on when Season 3 will start filming.

During The Rock’s return segment on WWE Monday Night Raw this week, he legitimately went off script to show fans dressed as WWE legends at ringside. The fans were dressed as Hulk Hogan, The Undertaker, Randy Savage, and The Rock.

As Kane vs. Bray Wyatt were in the ring, fans were noticeably distracted by these fans dressed up. WWE officials then decided to tell security to calm down the fans. Security took them out and then let them back in after telling them not to be disruptive. The fans complied and they went back to their seat. The Rock then came out for his return segment and then showed those same fans. Rock even went to them and started speaking to them. At this point WWE officials were backstage “freaking out” because of their previous troubles with the fans.

Since it was The Rock, he can basically do whatever he wants, but it’s being said if it was anyone other than Rock, or John Cena, they would likely have been fired.

WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart posted the following on his Facebook page, announcing he has been diagnosed with prostate cancer:

It is with great remorse that I feel compelled to speak truthfully to my friends, family and my millions of fans around the world. In the past few years, I’ve spent more than enough time paying the price for all those years trying to be the best there ever was as a professional wrestler. I executed excellently and my proudest claim was that I never seriously hurt or injured another wrestler in my 23 year career. I’ve paid a price for all that “fake” wrestling. Aside from a devastating career-ending concussion and numerous surgeries when I was younger, in recent years I’ve had two knee replacements, two hernia operations, surgery on my right elbow, and, just a few months ago, I underwent a four-corner fusion of my right wrist that even now makes it most difficult to write or type.

Mark Helprin wrote: “We are all perfect clocks that Divinity has set to ticking when, even before birth, the heart explodes into a lifelong dance.” I’ve had a great lifelong dance and I’m a survivor of many hard battles. I now face my toughest battle. With hesitation and fear, I openly declare myself in my fight against prostate cancer. In the next few days, I will undergo surgery with the hope of defeating this nemesis once and for all.

My fans have always looked upon me as a hero and I’ve always done my best to live up to that in and out of the ring. I beat the odds when I suffered my stroke in 2002, but it is now yet again, that I draw upon the many adults and young children I’ve met throughout my life who courageously fought and usually lost in their battles against this deadly disease. One year ago, I watched a brave young man named Whesley fight brain cancer to the end. If I can find even an ounce of his courage to stand unafraid and face the tough road ahead of me, I will march toward this destiny with his spirit chanting in my ear.

I make a solemn vow to all of those that once believed in me, the dead and the living, that I will wage my fearsome fight against cancer with one shield and one sword carrying my determination and my fury for life, emboldened by all the love that’s kept me going this long already. Love is my weapon and I’ve got much of it around me all the time, for which I’m truly blessed and eternally grateful. My children, grandchildren, and my loving wife Steph have been and will constantly be at my side. I refuse to lose, I will never give in or give up, and I will win this battle or die trying.

Most important of all, I hope I can take the fight to prostate cancer. To be a leader in awareness and to set the example for men everywhere who find themselves in my very same shoes, that prostate cancer can be beaten.

B x

    • What about it? The old MV2 version will not work.
    • Wow, this is some Iran, Cuba, China, Russia, North Korea-level citizen surveillance right there, the UK's government has gone totally mad. Power trip indeed, their politicians are totally out of control about this issue. They're starting to cross limits I wouldn't have imagined, to be honest. British people, fight this, your privacy and freedoms are in danger. Vote this government out of power.
    • Nintendo unveils The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake, and it's out this year by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Confirming many rumors, Nintendo officially announced a remake of the classic The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, the very first game in the series that offered a 3D experience to fans. Unlike previous remasters and re-releases, the originally 1998-released fantasy adventure game is being remade from the ground up for the Nintendo Switch 2 console this time. "The Nintendo 64 classic returns for a new generation in 2026, reborn exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2," said the company about today's announcement. While Nintendo didn't go into much detail about the project, other than confirming its existence, we did get a small teaser trailer at the Direct presentation today. Catch the footage below: With a tapestry as the backdrop, the first half of the trailer tells the tale of Hyrule, the Kokiri forest dwellers, and their fairy companions. It goes onto introduce "one particular boy" without a fairy, which then cuts to a sleeping Link, showcasing what looks like the new art style being introduced in the remake. Unfortunately, no gameplay or a look at the world has been revealed yet. The game originally released for the Nintendo 64 back in 1998, offering a time travel adventure where Link is once again going up against the evil king Ganondorf. The hugely well-received title has only been playable on modern Nintendo consoles using the Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake for the Nintendo Switch 2 doesn't have a firm release date yet, but Nintendo says it will be released sometime in 2026. Considering just how many publishers are avoiding the Grand Theft Auto VI release nowadays, the company may copy that strategy and also opt to bring this out before November this year.
