If you were to get 2 games...

Recommended Posts

I might be picking up a PS3 tomorrow, the 80 gig, which comes with Motorstorm. If you were to get 2 other games what would they be?

Thanks :)

Uncharted for sure

and burnout paradise perhaps. or COD4..

but get uncharted as if the copy in the store is the last one in the world and you MUST purchase it.

entertaining game. however no online if you are heavily into online gaming.

Sorry, I forgot to say that I already have CoD4, Burnout Paradise, and DMC4 for 360.

I heard Uncharted was really good, anyone played the Ratchet & Clank game?

Thanks for the replies :D

If you were a new buyer, I would advise games that have good replay value, CoD4 simply because the on-line and game in general is totally worth the price and time.

But you've got that already, so that's pointless. :p

Uncharted is a really great game, I really enjoyed it, when I was playing through it 3 female friends actually sat around and watched me play the whole game over a couple of days when we were away in the middle of nowhere, lol.

The replay value of the game is what you make of it, I'm slowly going through it wanting to collect all the treasures to unlock stuff and I want to eventually go through on harder modes, but as amazing as the game is, and it is very awesome, there is that much that really makes me want to go through it over and over, though I still do.

Ratchet and Clank I thought was very cool, I had never actually played a R&C game before getting this one on the Ps3, I really enjoyed it, there's a nice amount of stuff to do and is always good fun.

It reminded me of when I was younger and when I got the first Spyro the Dragon game, which kept my attention for ages and has to play all the way through it.

If you want some good new games to play, I would look at second hand games, I got Heavenly Sword, Ridge Racer 7 and Motorstorm for ?50 (about $98 Canadian) which was great since each is about ?35+ new here, but in your case you could find a nice cheap Resistance instead of Motorstorm.

If you liked the sort of games like Battlefield, you could not buy Warhawk which is pretty cool, in store you get a disk and Bluetooth headset, but you can get it for half the price if you don't mind buying it from the Playstation Store when you got home.

You could get Unreal Tournament if your into the games, but that depends if you either really want mods (we don't know what there doing with the Xbox360 mods yet) or want to play against friends you already have on the Xbox360.

*breaths*

Ratchet and Clank.

I don't have a PS3 but I have a PS2 and all the previous ones rocked, so it has to rock more in HD!

Then maybe Uncharted or CoD4.

If you made your mind up already on the games you want cool... or you can always wait in 2 weeks... Hot Shots Golf 5 and Rainbow Six Vegas 2 comes out... Those are both on my list to get...

  • I haven't played R&C much, so I can't say much on it.
  • COD4 is a great game for about a week or two, unless your into the whole playing online all night thing.
  • Uncharted was long and repetitive I thought, I really enjoyed the ending though. But I got tired of it about halfway and finished it a week or two later..
  • The demo for Burnout was really good, but I don't think its worth buying, my opinion anyways.

If your into sports, I recommend MLB 08 or NHL 08. I was very surprised with how fun and addictive MLB 08 was/is, I'm planning on picking it up asap. NHL 08 is my most played game, it's pure fun online when the EA servers aren't being stupid.
