I really wish that you could sign-in on MSN on your PS3, but the odds of that are very low considering Microsoft owns all that.

As an alternative, you could use the PS3's browser to use an internet client such as meebo or the like.

Sure? Meebo seems very web 2.0ish which the PS3 doesnt handle very well ^^

OK, maybe not Meebo but you can certainly use other online IM systems on the PS3, because my friend does it (only I don't know what website he uses).

The only reason I said Meebo was because that is the only one I know the name of. :)

Yeah, same. That was the main reason I wanted to put Linux on my PS3 lol, but I couldn't because of my NFS:Pro Street saves not being able to be copied :(

I can't even find a decent online WLM that works. Ebuddy wont let me select a contact, and Meebo just doesn't work lol. I've tried others, but none seem to work.

Mobile Ebuddy works, but it's terrible lol.
