tmr250z
I just started using Greasemonkey today. I visited Userscripts.org looking for some scripts, but I don't really know what might be useful. So I would like to ask everyone that uses Greasemonkey, what scripts do you find useful and would recommend installing?

tmr250z
Does anyone know of or could write a script that replaces the generic 'username' and password login fields with your actual username and password if you have them saved in Firefox? I'm not looking for an auto login script, I'm looking for one that auto fills that information in for forums, such as Neowin, that don't do this naturally with Firefox's password manager. This would certainly be a useful script for me.
lexor
Does anyone know if there is a beta of gm somewhere that works with beta4? The only official one that I can find is still up to beta3 only. Oh and my contribution is: Super Linkifier Edited March 12, 2008 by lexor
shakey_snake
0.7.20080121.0 works just fine with fx3 beta 4. If you want to use it you can either: Manually bump the maxversion number Manually disable Add-on compatibility checking (in about:config change extensions.checkCompatibility to false) Or install the nightly tester tools extension. Regardless of what you decided to do, be aware that you are disabling a safeguard that prevents you from installing incompatible extensions. Installing an incompatible extension could cause Firefox to do weird buggy things, or in a worst case scenario bork your user profile and potentially cause you to lose your passwords, browsing history and/or bookmarks.
