Olemus
We have this stuff at work called gloss glass polish which works fantastically on the PS3 and glossy tv's, not sure the exact name but look for it in your local B&Q or something it has glass polish written on the tube. JustGeorge
Samething happened to my Wii. Had some dust on it, so I wiped it off with my hand and Walla! Scratches. Quite pathetic, really. You'd think companies would learn after the crap plastic Apple used on iPods for years.
Nicholas-c Veteran Posted March 13, 2008 Author Veteran Share Posted March 13, 2008 would this polish do ? http://www.amazon.co.uk/Auto-Glym-Car-Glas...5057&sr=8-6 makes the PS3 seems cheap if it scratches so easy :(
DirtyLarry Veteran Posted March 13, 2008 Veteran Share Posted March 13, 2008 While this definitely sucks, I have to ask, what the hell kind of dust do you have in your house? LOL My PS3 gets dusty pretty damn easy thanks to the Black Polish Finish, actually it gets more dust on it than anything else for whatever reason (or perhaps it is just more noticeable now that I think about it) but I clean it frequently and have never seen any scratches from the dust. :| It does suck though, but there are some cleaners out there that are made to get rid of scratches, just be really careful and do some research. sn00pie
depends on how you wipe the dust off, i remember using glass cleaner to wipe my DS, and wow what a mistake that was.... :| best thing to do is use a towel lol
