How do u draw lines in Photoshop 7?


Question

I was wondering if there is a way to draw lines in photoshop....straight lines....

like u can do in paint........but i just cant figure out how?? where ?? :blush: :blush: :blink:

i think that is something that lacks in these great graphic programs... the ability to do a straight forward line and edit easy... if i need to do a simple art piece with lines.. i usully do it in flash mx :blush:

For quick straight lines I grab the pencil or paint bruch tool and start from one point. Hold the Shift key down and it will only go in straight lines at 90 degree angles.

Right under the text tool, there is the shape tool. click it and hold it down, a list of different types of shapes should be there, including a line shape. Click on that and draw away, the option toolbar up top will give you different options like width and stroke. It's not that this program was lacking, it's just that you were too lazy to look good enough. Saves time going to another program.
