Berserk87
how well does ubunu handle multiple core cpus? or ... which distro handles them the best? what about ntfs support? im going to be doing a dual boot of ubunt/vista, but i have another 500Gb hard drive that i store music and videos on, which i would like to be able to access/modify on both OS. Foub
how well does ubunu handle multiple core cpus?or ... which distro handles them the best? This shouldn't be a problem with recent distros. what about ntfs support?im going to be doing a dual boot of ubunt/vista, but i have another 500Gb hard drive that i store music and videos on, which i would like to be able to access/modify on both OS. Ubuntu 7.10 can now handle reading and writing to a NTFS partition built in. Though, Windows can't read or write to any of the Linux formats. Plus, if you're going to dual boot you have to install Windows first then Ubuntu. Don't worry Ubuntu can create and install to a separate partition at installation.
