ens_leader1
When I play Playstation 3 games, I occasionally hear popping/static noises at a variable interval. It becomes very annoying after awhile. Whats weird is that I don't hear them when I am at the PS3 menu, watching DVDs/Blu-Rays, or PS1/PS2. I only hear them when I'm playing PS3 games. All my PS3 games do this but some are worse than others.... I've even tried lowering the sound in the games but no luck My audio goes through HDMI, and I've tried the minimal manual sound settings. Video mode doesn't matter either, it does it both in 1080p and 720p. Anyone get this problem? I can't figure it out. I have a Gateway FHD2400 Monitor with speaker attachment. Thanks. Piggy
I'm guessing it is your in-monitor speakers. Can you try another set?
ens_leader1
I'm guessing it is your in-monitor speakers. Can you try another set? How do you route HDMI audio somewhere else? I tried plugging headphones and speakers into my monitor speakers (headphone jack) but still got the static. Its weird.
Piggy
Do you have a regular TV to try it on? Also, try lowering the sound settings in terms of Hz and see if that works.
Ricardo Gil
Try channeling the audio through composite and connect the RCA plugs to some headphones.
sn00pie
I get this all the time, I think it has something to do with your TV set?
