Berserk87 Posted March 18, 2008 Share Posted March 18, 2008 im looking at the compiz.org site, and i click videos, to find a page full of links with random names. here: DONT CLICK ANYLINKS ON THE PAGE anylink you click will get you stuck in a loop on the page, and kaspersky started going crazy, had to ctrl alt del. this would be a sql injection right? Same thing could (and has) been done on many forums, including Neowin. Borbus Posted March 20, 2008 Share Posted March 20, 2008 The site uses Mediawiki (same as Wikipedia). It's obviously a spam bot doing it. They should get the blocklists from Wikipedia for these things. You can revert the page just like Wikipedia. Go to history, find a good edit, (usually the last one that reverted), click the date, then click edit and save it, remembering to say that you were reverting. Oh and it's not an SQL injection... it's a wiki so it doesn't need something like that. Plus its Mediawiki which is pretty secure since its used on a high production website (Wikipedia).
