According to Kagari of the neogaf forums, GameStop are taking pre-orders for the limited edition of Metal Gear Solid 4 and it will cost $84.99. The limited edition will include a Blu-ray disc containing 2 'making of' documentaries, an interview with Kojima, 4 chapters of the graphic novel and also a Metal Gear Import Soundtrack CD. Those who reserve the limited edition at GameStop will also get an exclusive Metal Gear Solid 4 artbook.
I walked into work today and we got an email saying we're now taking reserves on the MSG4 Limited Edition version.

The limited edition will retail for $84.99 and include the following:

A Blu-ray containing

2 making of documentaries, and interview with Kojima

4 chapters of the graphic novel

Metal Gear Import Soundtrack CD

The LE comes packaged in a collectible metal case.

Reserves for the limited edition will also get an exlusive Metal Gear Solid 4 artbook at time of purchase.

I'm in Florida till the 14th of June (there from the 2nd), so I think I might try and get the LE edition if I can! I'll buy the normal copy when im over there anyway if I can't get LE!

will this be hitting our green and pleasant isle too?

Probably not :/

Here's hoping.

If not, and you really want it, try nabbing an import.

Funny thing is, you can probably get the LE shipped from the USA to the UK, for round about what they'll sell the normal edition for in the UK.

If anyone is SERIOUS about getting a LE copy, I could try nab more than 1 copy when I go the states and bring them back.

As I get to Florida on the 2nd of June though, very shortly before release, I might not even be able to secure myself a LE copy (preorders for it probs be sold out).

I really hope the UK gets some sort of limited edition package, otherwise I am importing because MGS is probably one of the only games I would actually shell out more ?? for the limited edition.

Any word on the PS3 bundle? Backwards compatibility is important to me so I am hoping the 80gb bundle is still on the table?

yes the bundle will include an 80 gig system.

I'm a sucker for LE's, especially for games like MGS :D

So I think I'm gonna try and get this one on import if it's not going to be released in the UK.

most places sell even new games for ?40 though. And sometimes if you look around you can find them for ?35 ish. Yeah, still more expensive than across the ocean, but not too bad

Living in the UK, I usually either buy them off eBay (yeah sure, some of them are counterfeits, but) or buy the download (e.g. STEAM).

Glad to hear that one is going to come out. I plan on pre-ordering on the 4th of April so I get that Metal Gear Online beta disc.
