Coldgunner
I use the Jabra 135, no complaints so far. as far as a proper gaming headset goes you'll be hard pushed.

Gary2MBz
The Motorola S9 is what it sounds like you need. Have it hooked to my phone and listen to music and talk on the phone 5 hours a day. The charger is simply a mini-USB style plug used on Motorola, Blackberry, and T-Mobile Dash/Wing/Sidekick devices. Sounds like it could do what you need too, is the in-game chat thingy using the A2DP profile?
random_n
I use a set of Sennheiser RS130 headphones for my Xbox (after going through a few poor alternatives from Sony and some off-brands). The sound is excellent (could use more low-end, but that's only IMHO), the range is more than adequate, and they're very comfortable. Found 'em for cheap on eBay (like $100) last year. My only complaint is that using a communication set with them is a bugger. ;)
Twisted Chaz
I've got the Sennheiser RS140's, but I agree that it's annoying using them with the xbox, cause I have to have the xbox headset round my neck and then have voice come out of the speakers.
