3.90 M33-2 Eboot.PBP Recovery File

Recommended Posts

I attempted to install a PTF Theme using a Flash0 exploit and got a semi brick. I can still access the Recovery Menu but I need a Eboot.PBP to put in my memory stick under GAME\RECOVERY then run it through Recovery Menu and recover the semi bricked system. I hope this is okay to talk about seeing people talk freely about CFWs in this forum.

One that recovers a Semi Bricked PSP...like a recovery Eboot to run in the Recovery Menu after holding down L and R during Cold Boot.

My friend has Pandora but it'll be 4 days before that happens :(. I have a Flash0 backup. I was trying to install a theme (why this happened)

You should be able to use your Flash0 backup to fix it then. Go into the recovery menu and toggle USB connection for Flash0. Copy over your backup and it should be ok. Otherwise your best option as stated above would be to use Pandora/MMS combination to recover your PSP.

Hah, just noticed that i've been registered for over 3 years and this is my first post.

Can anyone give us an L?

What about a U?

Maybe an R?

Or even a K?

Possibility of the E?

Nah, I think we'll settle on the R?

:p

What you said will work though.

I've bricked my PSP installing themes in the past, just load up Flash0, delete the whole thing, and copy over your backup (Y)

Ok I just tried that and it still turns off (stilled bricked.) When I tried deleting all the files it asked me if i wanted to delete everything because the system file uses it...I diidn't wanna screw anything so I said no. Now instead of replacing I will wipe it clean and copy and paste over my entire Flash0. Hope this works. Thanks for the tips.

It's not advisable to delete anything from Flash0, always copy and paste over the files. ;)

If you have a 1:1 copy, I'd always delete then copy/paste.

Reason being, there might still be left over files that were ADDED by custom themes. Some themes add files that don't need to overwrite other files, they just co-exist.

What you may have then is, issues within the XMB, or "out of space" warnings when trying to copy/paste your backup.

OMG IT WORKS! Thanks guys. First time I bricked. Now I feel confident :D. Flash0 saved my ass.

Sweet, one working PSP. Yeah Flash0 backup will save you whatever you do pretty much. :)

Well what do you know. I have a full brick now. Fu*king custom themes (iNaFlow 3.90 M33-2) I guess gotta wait for my friends pandora ><. I hate this PSP atm...gives me a Podule Folder in Flash0 instead of Module. WTF is that. It's ****ing me off.

You will need to enable hidden folders to enable the module folder, and i would also advise CXMB as they now use CTF files which are extremely easy to use
