flash movieclip need help!

Question

well here is my problem i created a movieclip in flash mx. When i created it i zoomed in 25% to see the whole clipboard size. When i inserted the movieclip in the scene it went back to 100% and my images and text turned huge. I tried clicking the movieclip and transforming it and it did but the symbols graphic that i had in there did not change and the ones that did look awful after that. They look like a 1980 computer had done them, big pixels, and blury. I have tried verything, i used logic and when resizing a movieclip if you have symbols inside of it say graphic etc... they dont change all there properties. anyway here is my first question?

Why is the size of the clipboard or drawing board in a scene one size and the one in the movieclip another???

i mean the board size changes, why???

How do you know what size to make your text or images??? in a movieclip???

and where are the borders in a movieclip because i dont see them and its very confusing, that is why i zoomed out to 25% to see the whole board and create my images but it was huge. So how do you know what size to make everything and where is the suppose borders???

ty please help by answering all the questions. thanks.

i just lost by not knowing 2500 frames and 15 layers. I feel like crying....

also when i do edit in place is the grey area not inlcuded in the movieclip right, i mean when you edit in place the grey area works as a border for it to be added to a scene??

so i can actually start creating a movieclip and using that grey area as a border right?

what ever is inside, and as long as i keep everything inside the grey it will be to the right size, and insde the scene when played right?

so its best to just do the mc in a edit in place all the time right?

please, help me and i thank you for your time since i am new to this. Also if you just came to this thread and dont know what i talking about just follow the recent conversations that i had.

thanks.

my main question is how can i add borders in a movieclip, see when you use the drawing board in a scene its a specific size and yoou know wherethe borders are. When you create a movieclip there is nothing, i mean no border how can you add borders??

also if you use edit in place a grey sorrounds the movieclip board is that a border or a reference to use it like a border???

Ho can i just have the scene board and thwe moviweclip be the same and have the same dimensions and borders.???

ok,well that is if you are going to move it from library to scene, but i am asking how to have borders when creating it and avoiding having to resize evrything. Pretty much just doing it once and at the right size. How???
