Just finished setting up my workstation so it's not that tidy yet!

Once I get a decent chair, CD's sorted and some decent keyboards I can post some good pictures!

That desks looks rather familiar to the one I am getting for my new setup. I recognise it from the silver "legs". :p

How is that desk in general? Is it any good? Any regrets getting it?

Should have pics of my workstation very soon :)

Quick question. Why do a lot of you connect your PS3/360 to your computers rather than to your living room TV's? I have often wanted my 360 plugged into my desktop but I have never felt it was worth losing my bigger living room plasma display. I would love to hear your thoughts on it.

I'm going to guess it's because some people live at home so they want to be able to play whenever they want.

It's from Argos (?69.99).

Very big desk, think it's about an inche or two shorter than standard desks. But I'm 6'2'' and it doesn't bother me. So far I'm really chuffed with it as it has so much room.

I've only got my fiancee's old Phat PS2 in my office as I sometimes want to play games if she's in the front room gaming on one of the other consoles (PS3/360/wii/Slim PS2, majorly geeky, but we love our games and it's hard to chose one console this time round)

    • I gave up on browser ad-blocking extensions a few years ago, replaced them with Adguard. Not perfect but overhaul is a nice app that does the job on both Windows and Android with the respective versions.

    • "Of course the easiest solution is to switch to uBlock Origin Lite if you want to remain on Chrome, as it is MV3-based, but from our experience, uBO Lite does not seem to be as good as the original non-Lite version" In my experience uBlock Origin Lite does the job for normal everday home users. When they kill that we get to watch Firefox and Brave get a boost in user market share.
    • Block by DNS ad blocker! I dare you! I will even layer unlock Origin, on top of my internal DNS, if I need to and I don’t even block ads today (I really should but this type of behavior makes me angry). I suppose I could also just be lazy, and add the flags myself, back to each release (it wouldn’t be that difficult).
    • Wonder what MPs have ties to these privacy/verification/data harvesting companies that are going to step in this time. Last time under the Tories half the cabinet had fingers in the pies, heck even the PM and his wife at the time was working for silicon valley, probably made a fortune.
