+jamesyfx Subscriber² Posted April 8, 2008 Subscriber² Share Posted April 8, 2008 The 360 uses exactly the same hard drive technology as the PS3 (2.5" SATA).. I just dont understand why it's so easy on the PS3. ;p Good for us. But I think Sony missed out there. They could ship the PS3 with 160GB for like ?20 more. houlty
ok just realized one thing I had NO idea that when the PS3 is in standby mode (only the red light on), you can turn it on by clicking the PS button on the sixaxis controller. Like a remote. Lol.. i honestly in my 4 month old PS3 experience, did not know that until i accidentaly pushed the button... Silly me :) if you didnt know that, you probably also dont know that the you can rotate the playstation logo next to the drive, depending on whether you have it stood horizontal or vertical... Poolie07
I stumbled upon the rotating playstation button when I was getting the dust off my PS3. No matter how much I use the PS3, the dust just keeps on coming.

webcivilian
I upgraded my PS3's 60GB hard drive with a Samsung (Spinpoint HM250JI) 250GB. I can notice a little bit of speed bump as the samsung has more cache and large platters. Hard Drive upgrade definitely recommended. Alfista the Eyecreate is available in Europe Store. You have go find PLAYSTATION EYE category first. It will be listed as a part of it. --- netcivilian PSN: netcivilian

Alfista
yes as far as i know 320 is the biggest one. I could not find it here in Turkey so had to go with the 250 gb option. And about MGS4... I am waiting for GTA4 much more eagerly than MGS4.
