Analog Controls Coming to Lair

Recommended Posts

US, April 10, 2008 - One of the biggest complaints about Factor 5's PlayStation 3 debut title appears to have been addressed. Sony Japan provided first details today on a free update for Lair, and included in the bullet points is the option for analog controls!

The update will also offer the ability to show a targeting icon, and Dual Shock 3 rumble support.

Sony is making a few additional downloads available for the game as well. Lair owners will be able to download the Wind Dragon and Poison Dragon for use in all stages. All PS3 owners will have access to a couple of themes which can be used to spice up the system's main interface. These downloads will also be free.

The new downloads will arrive in Japan on the 17th, and presumably throughout the world at around the same time.

Lair, it may now be worth trying to find the title in a bargain bin near you!

YEY!

I got Lair like 2 days ago at the same time with Folklore.

Really enjoying it so far, I had been watching it and was going to buy it when came out, but couldn't be bothered with it because of the controls.

But since it was in a cheap deal I got it with folklore, the controls are OK with the Sixaxis, but can get really annoying, and now that the update is coming, I am overjoyed knowing that I can play it properly. :D

Already confirmed much of this 2 months ago ;)

Hell, the morning the rumor broke, Factor 5 let me play it after I asked them about it.

I thought it would be out by now.

Well we did know it was coming, and people such as yourself did have hands on with it.

But the rumour as to when it was coming was the end of march...which came and past us without a hint.

Now we have an official date!
