Sethos
I've seen them for 39,- up to 100,- depending on the size. Check out some hobby sites, like morfars.dk etc. they always got compressed air, softgun sites would do to ( rodes.dk )
Skwerl
Turning it upside down for a while probably results in some sort of error condition. I don't think this is the established procedure for getting it to clean itself. I would not suggest you try this unless you really think your PS3 is full of dust. As for canned air, I've pushed a couple CPU fans over the edge with that stuff. It seems I blew enough dust around that it got caught in the fans' lubrication and did them in. Anymore, I just use a vacuum with a tiny nozzle to suck buildup out of heat sinks and the vents of electronics. I think this is probably a lot safer than holding your PS3 upside down until you **** it off enough to rev its fans.
+Audioboxer Subscriber² Posted April 14, 2008 Subscriber² Share Posted April 14, 2008 *Sony says do NOT do the "fan test"Well, we finally have official words. Doing it once or twice won't affect your PS3 in any way, but if you continuously do it, you could severely damage it. Source: http://forums.gametrailers.com/showthread.php?t=368045 Wouldn't recommend you guys keep doing this ;)
