Posted April 17, 2008 Share Posted April 17, 2008 my pc has two sound cards, an onboard one and a soundblaster audigy se pci card. i need to get the onboard sound working, but no luck so far. i think its a intel high definition audio " i use a realtek drivers in windows for it ". all i get is a faint static sound until i log off ubuntu. how can i fix this ? Posted April 18, 2008 Author Share Posted April 18, 2008 BUMP.... any advice guys, i made sure everything was unmuted and i still get nothing but static for sound ? i asked this question on the ubuntu forums and i was told to just go ahead and install the new version of ubuntu, but since it's still in beta im going to wait.
