Playstation Eye users

Guys.. I have my PS eye for sometime and love it. but sometimes i get complaints from other players that my background noise is heard by everybody and they say it is irritating...

I placed my PS EYE on my 47 inch PLASMA screen next to my screen i have two huge speakers and a subwoofer and a center speaker right below the TV... and next to the TV i have my Playstation 3 console...

Where should i place my PS eye so it will better hear my voice and not the surround system?

How are you guys handling your Playstation EYE??? when using its microphone (not a headset) where do you place it and how far is it from your TV or speakers?

Also another thing

I am OK with using a bluetooth headset. However somtimes my friends come over and i need to turn on the PS eye camera so they can hear what other players are saying and speak at the same time. If i have the bluetooth headset on, than they can not hear what others are saying because the speeches come through the headset, and also they can not speak, because the mic will be right next to my mouth..

How do you guys solve this problem at your house?

I would not mind hearing other players' voices through the sound system but only speaking through the headset microphone...

I got mine on top of the LCD, next to the wii sensor bar, no problems at all with sound. It's right in front of my couch at about 2.5m distance.

As for your second problem, why do you use the headset if the cam mic works?

when the cam mic works, i get complaints because of the echo in some games...

So you have ur mic on top of LCD? Also do you use the speakers on your tv? or surround system?

doesnt the other players hear gunfires on games such as COD4??

so an echo would happen...

I use the TV speakers + subwoofer. I only use the camera mic for talking/videochat, for games I use my usb headset.

Getting echo in games using anything other than a headset is normal... even more if you have the volume turned up a lot.

Try using the camera close to you and tuning the TV sound until the echo fades away.
