Youtube embedded posts?

Recommended Posts

So I was thinking about the joke and funny stuff section, specifically about video posts. I think it would be cool to see a bbcode for the forum.

any thoughts?

I use Save2PC to save you tube messages and then upload them to Photobucket and use the bb code from there see below:

obviously not

After digging through the embed code ...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nu5nFiwKTz0.swf

bloody messy, you have to change the url from the watch?v= to the v/{code} and add .swf ... not very friendly :(

I would too if that's all I were viewing. But imagine scrolling through a jokes thread with a handful of them that large. Or the folks that still don't have access to broadband yet trying to load the page. Bigger isn't always better.

How come some of the Video's are gray and don't play? I go to trekmovie.com and they are gray as well, yet I know people are watching them. Same happened with a few in this topic.
