jasqid Posted April 24, 2008 Share Posted April 24, 2008 Hi, Everyone! I was hoping someone here could help me... Just did a fresh install of Vista Ultimate SP1. Got all my progs and files re-installed. So from this fresh point I am trying to setup the BackUp & Restore program to do nightly backups again... and After selecting the USB drive I'm getting an App Crash. Got the event viewer details below. The error window pops up when it scans for a backup device. My USB Drive is a WD 500GB Book. (USB). PC is setup up with Raid striping (2x250GB) I've never seen this... The MS help event help is no-help. What I've done so far... I thought the Bit Locker Extra may have caused an issue... I had never down loaded that before... thsi time I did. SO I uninstalled it, rebooted... and still getting the error. I'm thinking maybe somthing is corrupt on the drive... already ran a scan disk on it... that didnt help... so I am reformatting the USB drive. Not the quick format either. Will see what happens but I doubt it will work. BTW, the drive is fairly new... bought it in OCT 07. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
