Should I sell my DS lite

Recommended Posts

I have a ds lite for couple of months. PLayed some games in it and for last two months , I can not find any good games for it.. I tried playing New super mario bros. and mario 64 again but finished them quickly. Is there any new good games coming for PSP or is the situation is just like DS?. :(

It depends. What type of games are you interested in? PSP had a bunch of cool games come out recently.

Keep it, you never know what will come out!

Besides you must get urges to randomly bust out things like Clubhouse Games, right? :o

...What the hell? No good games to get, even pirated?

Zelda: Phantom Hourlgass

Pheonix Wright (all of them)

Metroid Prime: Hunters

Tetris DS

Wario Ware Touched

Meteos

Brain Training

Mario Kart DS

Sonic Rush

Sonic Rush Adventures

Hotel Dusk 215

And those are just the ones off the top of my head. I'm sure there are many, many more.

Definitely, if you think the DS lineup is poor, you'll be taking steps back buying a PSP. Keep the DS imo and I'm sure you'll get plenty of recommendations from members here.

Depends on what you want.

The PSP is like a mini-PS2. A lot of it's games aren't as portable and/or pickup and play for 5 mins like the DS titles.

However the PSP is a powerhouse when it comes to doing other things gaming and non-gaming, that the DS can't do, or struggles with.

Emulation is killer on the PSP, Gameboy to Snes to N64 to PSX. DS can emulate NES and SNES I know of, but it's not geared up to do it that well.

If you had a PS1 and loved it, nothing is better than putting your favourite PS1 titles on your PSP and playing them on the go. Likes of FF7-9.

Obviously you can watch movies on a PSP as well, but if you have/are going to get a PS3 at any point, remote play is real nice for watching all the content on your PS3 on your PSP.

The actual PSP lineup of games is not bad, I don't know why people slate the catalog, it has many great games - However as I've said, mainly of it's great titles are like console games, as oppose to hand held games.

That I believe is one reason some may be turned off the PSP.

I have both a PSP and DS, and i use my PSP more, i use it to read Manga (comics), play GBA and SNES on the bus and to play the odd triple A PSP game that comes out (see. Wipeout Pulse/God of War), i only undust my DS Lite to play major releases like Zelda, Mario, and sometimes i will take it out if i know im going to be waiting for someone, Tetris makes the time go really fast...

I finished all the mario games on ds.. I really like platforming games like mario.. I dont have any time for rpg games.. Reason I was interested in a psp because of the game ( cant remember the name) that has orange tomato like creatures and you go one place to another by tilting the landscape.. I played the game on my friends psp and really liked it..:p

Loco Roco :p

Did you ever have a PS1?

Dunno if they go under "platformers" or not but Tomba 1 & 2 are amazing games. They both work on the PSP as well.

AMEN to that!

The only reason I would even consider getting a PSP is the remote capabilities with 'playTV'. But the DS has a much stronger game lineup and the PSP
