Makejo D Posted April 28, 2008 Share Posted April 28, 2008 I instaled Ubuntu Hardy Heron in a compaq laptop (altec lansing) but no detect the wireless... i have read some articles with the broadcom board but went i try with lspci | grep Broadcom, nothin happen... then there is not my wireless hardware then this is not my tutorial.... went i type lspci i have this line related with the wireless 01:00.0 Ethernet controller: Atheros Communications Inc. AR242x 802.11abg Wireless PCI Express Adapter (rev 01) in the ubuntu menu, system > Administration> hardware drivers, i have "Suport for Atheros wireless lan card" then i dont know why do not work.
