Steven P. Administrators Posted November 28, 2001 Administrators Share Posted November 28, 2001 Internet Options > Security > Restricted Sites add the domains of the credit card billing people and there is no way to send your credit card details ;) or add the sites she goes to to buy these books
craybox
hmm, tried that but the trouble is there are so many sites out there and I am at work during the day so I need to block access full stop !
ahodes1
Set a password for the Internet or take a necessary component with you lol, take the power cable with you and I bet she won't be buying anything online
configure Veteran Posted November 28, 2001 Veteran Share Posted November 28, 2001 Aside from blocking an access to credit card billing side, wouldn't it be easier to talk it out? :ermm:
Gooey
just block the cards full stop. Works in the real world too :p
Captain Phatty
I used to work for the credit card company behind Federated Department Stores. If we placed a "Check ID" status for purchases, you could no longer use the card for any internet purchases. I am not sure if this works with other credit cards, but its worth a shot. craybox
i managed to solve the problem with a program called 'keystroke' it looks out for key combinations and then performs an appropriate action. I entered all the missus credit card numbers in the program and told it to shutdown IE when the first 8 numbers are entered ! voila
