gregb0b Posted May 2, 2008 Share Posted May 2, 2008 Hey all, I have a 60 inch Sony projection tv that I received as a hand me down from my sister. It has two slight burns in where you watch tv and was wondering if anyone has experienced this and/or know how to fix burns. Its obvious my sister watched normal tv when they had HD cable and thus the burns were caused where the normal tv screen fits with in the picture. I attached a picture of what I mean. They aren't noticeable while the picture is dark only when lite(IE: Hockey Ice, Xbox live loading screen, etc.) I don't know if burns is the correct term because no color is distorted, its just two lines down where your Normal TV and HD TV would mix into each other.
