DigitalE
I have a split-track CD with music on one channel (left) and singing on the other channel (right). Is there a quick way to batch merge the audio channels to one? There are 84 tracks, all as MP3 right now.
Borbus
Yes, but you should rip the CD again in a lossless format like WAV or FLAC to keep maximum quality. Get foobar2000: http://foobar2000.org/ (Assuming your on Windows, but I use foobar2000 in Wine even sometimes) Add all the tracks to a playlist then select them all and choose convert > convert to. Then you need to tick the enable DSP box and press the button. Select the stereo to mono DSP. And then convert to a format of your choice (MP3 requires you to download LAME). You can just choose WAV so you can compress it again later.
jokeripa
^ That will probably work. A 'better' is to use Reaper. It can be done a few different ways here, check out the crazy routing options, it will require more efford than FooBar but you can get much better results. (potentially...)
