Panarchy
Hello! Does Shift Linux install GRUB? Will it work on an ext3 partition? Will it work if I already have 3 OSs installed (each with there own partition). Will it work on a 64-bit based CPU/computer? Please reply, Thanks in advance, Panarchy PS: How many MB is Shift? Barney T. Administrators Posted May 4, 2008 Administrators Share Posted May 4, 2008 Yes, Shift uses Grub. It installs on ext3 partitions, however, it is better to create (or let Shift) create its own file system on unpartitioned space. I guess it will also work with multiple other OSs, as it has been done by others............ and finally, Shift is a 32-bit OS, however, it works fine on a 64-bit system.
