The G4 Cube is the portable Mecca for Apple cult members.

Damn Mighty Mouse!

The thing already stopped working. It refuses to scroll down now. Bah.

Well I guess it's time for a new mouse. I'll get this one replaced but there's no chance in hell I'l continue using it.

This is going to sound odd but... Press hard down on the ball and scroll it around in circles, that should clear the obstruction and return operation.

Hey Stevo, I didn't see anything in your review, but have you tried using your mac with boot camp? I got myself one of their 3ghz badboys and everytime I boot into windows my audio sounds like ass, real low quality as if its being played from behind a glass. Sounds crystal clear in VMware so its clearly driver related. Just curious if you have the same problem.

Also on another side note, does your new iMac show up as a White Mac in the sidebar? Not really important, but mine does and its slightly annoying.

Nah, i don't have boot camp. My other pc is right next to me, so no reason for me to even want Windows on here. ;)

Just poking my head in to say I got nearly the exact same model as StevoFC last week, and love it to pieces. Haven't experimented much with OS X yet and am using Vista on it - I do a lot of work in Windows-only applications and can't switch just yet, so will experiment with Parallels when I get hold of it.

OSX does something really annoying that makes my external drives spin back up all the time.

Most likely indexing for spotlight or time machine. You can exclude drives in the spotlight preferences.

I already have spotlight disabled on the backup drives. It spins up every time the save as dialog comes up even if you don't select that drive. I hate that it does that. it shouldn't spin up unless you select the drive or something.

If it give you any comfort, I get the same thing too. I have indexing disabled, and whenever I bring up a dialogue box (like right clicking a link in Safari and clicking Download Linked File As) there's a couple second pause as my 5 drives spin up. It's really annoying :(

The question is, where did you get that awesome wallpaper? I googled it and still couldn't find it!

Time machine seems to work pretty well since I got my external HDD up and running. I haven't had an actual use for it yet, but I guess that's a good thing. ;)
