mamamamamamama
I want to install slackware on a virtual machine, and i only want to use the first cd (barebones, including kde and stuff). The problem is, i really can't be bothered to sift through all the packages, are there any install scripts (can't remember the proper name) that do this? Thanks in advance. As I recall, KDE is on the second slackware cd. So if you want to install the base system and KDE plus whatever else you want, you referred to that as ?stuff,? you are going to need cd1 and cd2. As for a script to help in this process I do not believe there is one. I've been using slackware since version 8 and haven't come across such a script. You may want to just install the A series packages and then use swaret to install KDE as it can do slackware dependencies. I have don't this before and it worked well.
