roadgeek9
I know that I am using a pretty old version of Fedora Core, but it is the latest version of Fedora that runs well on my desktop. Anyway, I'm having a bit of a problem connecting to a printer on a Windows 2000 machine (again, an old computer, but I never use it, it is just a print server). When I try to connect to the printer by SMB, I will type in all the appropriate information, click OK, and the same box comes back at me with all of the information I put into the box. markwolfe Veteran Posted May 5, 2008 Veteran Share Posted May 5, 2008 Been a while for me, could you post a screenshot of what you describe? Also, make sure you can see the printer from your linux box. Open a terminal and do: su /sbin/smbclient -L (your windows server pc IP here) and verify that it reports your printer share.
