StandingInAlley
Hey Guys! I am currently running Ubuntu Hardy Heron and i am very happy with it. Its been setup just the way i wanted to. I dual boot between Vista Ultimate and Ubuntu Hardy Heron. I need to format Vista and do a re-installation because of a spyware. I will be re-installing Vista in C:\ but my doubt is that its gonna over write over the booting option and hence ubuntu will be lost. So what should i do after installing Vista so that i can run Ubuntu again too without re-installing it. I am enjoying my linux experience but my parents find it difficult so i need to keep Vista. +Gary7 Subscriber² Posted May 14, 2008 Subscriber² Share Posted May 14, 2008 You can install Vista Boot Pro and it should find the boot for Unbunto. BCD Edit is also a good boot manager.
