+BeLGaRaTh Subscriber¹ Posted May 15, 2008 Subscriber¹ Share Posted May 15, 2008 I stand corrected mate of mine said there was a downloadable demo a few months back, but it seems to have disappeared after Prologue hit the shelves, which in itself is a demo as such :(
Corris Veteran Posted May 15, 2008 Veteran Share Posted May 15, 2008 There was a Demo as such, it was GT HD Concept, kinda a test bed for the engine on the Ps3. Was one course, normal and mirrored, 10 cars, start with 1 then unlock cars from completing the previous ones time trial, after that you got a Drift mode unlocked and all the cars again but tuned, had online time and drift leader boards too. But as mentioned they decided to remove it when Prologue was released.
PiracyX
What is the GT5:Prologue then?
Corris Veteran Posted May 15, 2008 Veteran Share Posted May 15, 2008 What is the GT5:Prologue then? He asked a simple question, and all it needed was a simple answer. But i figured it would of taken a little longer before someone would of brought up that which every other GT topic decends into. But alas it seems some people cant help themselves. Why you think they took down the GT5 HD Demo when this came out?
popisdead uk
Care to enlighten me then? GT5:P is exactly that and it's not that i can't help myself like you say, it happens to be the truth. Why you think they took down the GT5 HD Demo when this came out? Does it actually matter? Really? GT: P is much more than a demo. They took the demo's down a while ago as they were only available during the Tokyo Car Show. GT: P is a superb game and well worth the money (most places sell it for ?15), its forever changing and already has received some good updates. PD have also said they will continue to support/patch the game right up to the release of GT5, including damage/physics patches. Like I said, much more than demo. PabUK Veteran Posted May 15, 2008 Veteran Share Posted May 15, 2008 I didn't realise they had taken down Gran Turismo HD Concept as well. I've got both that and the Gran Turismo 5 Prologue Demo installed so it sounds like I'd better hold on to them.
