A teenage actor who will appear in the forthcoming "Harry Potter" movie was stabbed to death in a brawl outside a south London bar early Saturday, police said.

Rob Knox, 18, was caught up in a fight outside the Metro Bar in Sidcup just after midnight, London's Metropolitan Police said in a statement. The teen's death, less than two weeks after another youngster was brutally slain only a few miles away, has focused the British capital's attention on knife crime.

Knox plays Ravenclaw student Marcus Belby in "Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince," the sixth cinematic installment of the wildly popular Harry Potter series, set for release this fall. Warner Brothers said it was shocked by the news.

Wow, talk about some major shanking going on over there. I'm guessing alcohol was not involved in this one... :shifty:

I would guess this fight started over insulting him for his role in the potter movie...

Jealousy is pathetic, too many stabbings!

Also funny how this gets major press and the countless unknown faces that recieve the same death never get mentioned :/

wow...

that's bad news...

it's scary when faces you know get into such things... not like it's not just as bad when "unknown" people die, but, this makes it more obvious how bad it is...

Rest in Peace!

that's not true...

that's where local press jumps in... if we read about any incident like this in the news you'd need a single news paper just for such new and it would be as thick as a telephone book... :/

and a conclusion of all those attacks can be found in your annual crime statistics either for your nation, your city, your country or province etc...
