M.F.D.K Share Posted May 28, 2008 Different people want different things, but I hope the main priority of the team working on Windows 7 will be performance and compatibility.

Mr. Dee Share Posted May 28, 2008 According to a post on news.com: We will also get an early demo of Windows 7. As Dan Farber reports, we'll see a little bit of the interface, which promises to be very shiny. Link here
zerologic Author Share Posted May 28, 2008 Stability wise Vista and Leopard are on par From my experience anyhow. I think that too. I hope Microsoft do come out with a stylish polished new UI with innovative features that would turn smugness into awe.
sundayx Veteran Share Posted May 28, 2008 I think Microsoft just want to show certain aspects of a totally radical interface (including some of their multi-touch technologies and tech demos in the recent years) to take the first step in claiming to be innovative. What we will see tonight might just be what seems to be the road to come for computing, and certain a glimpse of what OSXI might potentially provide. Of course this statement is said by the fact that Windows 7 will be radical in change, but if it was just a minor upgrade then all I have said is false. How so? Having demonstrating a new OS concept shortly after a release of Vista (remember, 6 years in development) is potentially a statement that, this is what we have for you, but lets move forward. giga Veteran Share Posted May 28, 2008 Not to be intruding (hey, I run both Windows and OS X), but you guys could keep off the irrelevant mac bashes and focus on Windows 7 which everyone is looking forward to. (me included) Just a thought.
