It's on the ftp server and getting pushed to the mirrors. You might have to refresh a few times to get a working mirror.

Changelog:

None yet. Watch this space, it should appear there eventually.

Download (for Linux, Mac OS X, Windows)

Are the folders in the mac directory empty for anyone else?

I'll keep trying throughout the night anyway. Thanks for the heads up, although like above I haven't had any problems with RC1 yet...

See above: Mozilla.org is in the process of pushing the release to the mirrors. Reload the page and see if you get to another mirror. I downloaded the en_GB version without problems earlier.

Even though I'm English, I always use the EN-US versions, haha :p I'm waiting for the final version to be released though - I really can't stand the location bar (sadly). I just can't adjust to it... that's pretty much the only reason why I'm on FF2.0.

I find the 'awesomebar' pretty awesome myself. However, if you insist on having the location bar behave like it did in Firefox 2.0, why not install the oldbar extension?

^^Give that a shot (Windows/English)! :D

-------------

The new firefox.exe is version 1.9.0.3071 with a build ID of 2008052903... RC1 on the left, RC2 on the right:

No real difference that I can tell so far.

My build number is diferent. Is that due to the fact that I am using a en-us build?

I'll install it again, and see if I like it... I'll try longer this time to get used to it. I did try that extension, and although everything looks the same as the old Firefox location bar, it's still different - It still show the same results as what the 'awesomebar' would, I think. So if I typed a few letters, it would show results with those letters in, as opposed to just the websites I've been to that start with those letters.

I just don't understand why they still can't fix the memory leak issues that have plagues firefox for probably 2 years now. I think FF3 is actually even worse than FF2 was for this problem. At least once a day I have the memory run rampant on both my machines.

Weird, FF3 has been a lot better for me in terms of memory usage, both on Windows and OSX.

Some firefox addons are leaking memory ...

In my case "tab mix plus", but I can't live without it .

Are you using the Dev release of Tab Mix Plus or the one that is on AMO? I am not experiencing this.
